How do I book an appointment through the MediQuick app?

Booking an appointment is simple! Open the MediQuick app, tap on "Book Appointment" on the home screen, select your preferred specialty, choose a doctor, select an available time slot, and confirm your booking. You'll receive an instant confirmation notification and email with all the details.

How far in advance can I book an appointment?

You can book appointments up to 3 months in advance, depending on the doctor's availability. For specialists, we recommend booking at least 2-3 weeks ahead to secure your preferred time slot.

Can I book an appointment for someone else?

Yes, you can book appointments for family members or dependents. During the booking process, you'll have the option to select "Book for someone else" and enter their details. Make sure you have their basic information and medical history handy.

What information do I need to provide when booking an appointment?

You'll need to provide basic information such as your name, contact details, the reason for your visit, and any relevant medical history. For first-time users, you'll need to complete your profile with additional details like date of birth, address, emergency contact, and insurance information (if applicable).

Can I book an emergency appointment?

MediQuick offers urgent care appointments that can be booked for the same day. Look for the "Urgent Care" option in the app. However, for medical emergencies requiring immediate attention, please call emergency services (911) or go to your nearest emergency room. The app is not designed for life-threatening emergencies.

How can I find the right doctor for my condition?

You can search for doctors by specialty, location, availability, or specific health concerns. The app provides detailed profiles for each doctor, including their qualifications, experience, areas of expertise, languages spoken, and patient reviews. You can also use the "Find Doctor" feature which asks about your symptoms and suggests appropriate specialists.

Are all doctors on MediQuick verified?

Yes, all healthcare providers on MediQuick undergo a thorough verification process. We verify their medical licenses, credentials, education, and professional experience. We also conduct background checks and monitor patient feedback to ensure high-quality care.

Can I see the same doctor for follow-up appointments?

Absolutely! You can book follow-up appointments with the same doctor through the app. After your consultation, you'll have the option to schedule a follow-up, or you can go to the doctor's profile and select from their available time slots. You can also add doctors to your "Favorites" list for easy access.

How can I read reviews about doctors?

Each doctor's profile includes patient reviews and ratings. You can read what other patients have said about their experience, including wait times, bedside manner, and effectiveness of treatment. Reviews are verified from actual patients who had appointments through MediQuick.

What specialties are available on MediQuick?

MediQuick offers a wide range of specialties including but not limited to General Medicine, Pediatrics, Dermatology, Cardiology, Orthopedics, Gynecology, Neurology, Psychiatry, Dentistry, Ophthalmology, ENT, and more. The availability of specialists may vary by location.

Payment and Insurance

What payment methods are accepted?

MediQuick accepts various payment methods including credit/debit cards, net banking, UPI, and mobile wallets. You can save your preferred payment method in the app for faster checkout. For some consultations, you may also have the option to pay at the clinic.

Does MediQuick accept insurance?

Yes, MediQuick works with many insurance providers. You can add your insurance information to your profile, and the app will show you doctors who accept your insurance. For some consultations, we offer direct billing to your insurance company. Check the "Insurance" section in your profile to see the list of supported insurance providers.

How much does a consultation cost?

Consultation fees vary depending on the doctor's specialty, experience, and location. You can see the exact fee before booking the appointment. For insured patients, we display your estimated out-of-pocket cost based on your insurance coverage. MediQuick also offers affordable telemedicine options that are typically less expensive than in-person visits.

Do I need to pay in advance for appointments?

For most appointments, a nominal booking fee is required to confirm your slot. This helps reduce no-shows and ensures doctors' time is respected. The remaining payment is made after the consultation. For some premium specialists or urgent appointments, full payment may be required in advance.

Can I get a receipt for my consultation?

Yes, digital receipts are automatically generated for all payments and sent to your registered email address. You can also access all your payment receipts in the "Payments & Receipts" section of your profile. These receipts can be used for insurance reimbursement or tax purposes.

Cancellation and Rescheduling

How can I reschedule or cancel my appointment?

You can reschedule or cancel appointments through the "My Appointments" section in the app. Select the appointment you wish to modify, then choose "Reschedule" or "Cancel." For rescheduling, you'll be shown available alternative time slots. Please note that there are time limits for cancellation and rescheduling.

What is the cancellation policy?

Appointments can be cancelled free of charge up to 24 hours before the scheduled time. For cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance, a cancellation fee may apply (typically 50% of the booking fee). Emergency cancellations due to medical reasons may be eligible for a full refund with appropriate documentation.

What happens if I miss my appointment?

If you miss your appointment without prior cancellation (no-show), you may be charged the full consultation fee. Repeated no-shows may affect your ability to book appointments with certain doctors. We send multiple reminders before your appointment to help you remember your scheduled time.

What if the doctor cancels or reschedules my appointment?

If a doctor needs to cancel or reschedule your appointment, you'll be notified immediately via app notification, SMS, and email. You'll be offered alternative time slots with the same doctor or options with other similar doctors. In case of doctor cancellation, any fees you've paid will be fully refunded or applied to your rescheduled appointment, based on your preference.

Can I get a refund if I cancel my appointment?

Refund policies depend on when you cancel. For cancellations made more than 24 hours in advance, you'll receive a full refund. For late cancellations (less than 24 hours before), partial refunds may be provided. You can choose to receive the refund to your original payment method or as MediQuick credits for future appointments.

How do I download and install the MediQuick app?

The MediQuick app is available for free download on both iOS (App Store) and Android (Google Play Store). Search for "MediQuick" in your app store, tap "Install," and follow the on-screen instructions. The app requires iOS 12.0+ or Android 6.0+ to function properly.

How do I create an account?

After downloading the app, open it and tap "Sign Up." You can register using your email address, phone number, or social media accounts. You'll need to verify your contact information and create a secure password. Then, complete your profile by adding personal details, medical history, and insurance information (optional).

How do I access my medical records in the app?

Your medical records are available in the "Health Records" section of the app. Here you can view your consultation history, prescriptions, lab results, and other medical documents. You can also upload external medical records by taking photos or importing PDFs. All records are securely stored and can be shared with your doctors during consultations.

Can I use the app for video consultations?

Yes, MediQuick offers video consultations with doctors. When booking an appointment, look for the "Video Consultation" option. At the scheduled time, open the app, go to "My Appointments," and tap "Join Video Call." Ensure you have a stable internet connection and are in a quiet, well-lit place for the best experience.

What should I do if I encounter technical issues with the app?

If you experience technical issues, first try closing and reopening the app. If the problem persists, go to "Settings" → "Help & Support" → "Report a Problem" to send details about the issue. Privacy and Security

How is my personal and medical information protected?

MediQuick takes data security very seriously. All personal and medical information is encrypted using industry-standard protocols. Your data is stored on secure servers with multiple layers of protection, and we never share your information with third parties without your explicit consent.

Who has access to my medical records?

Only you and the healthcare providers you explicitly share them with can access your medical records. Doctors can only view your records when you have an active appointment with them. Our administrative staff may have limited access for customer support purposes, but all access is logged and monitored to prevent unauthorized use.

Are video consultations secure and private?

Yes, all video consultations are conducted through secure, end-to-end encrypted connections. The video calls are never recorded or stored. Only you and your doctor have access to the video feed, ensuring complete privacy during your consultation, just like an in-person visit.

Can I delete my account and data from MediQuick?

Yes, you can request to delete your account and associated data by going to "Settings" → "Privacy" → "Delete My Account." Please note that certain medical records may need to be retained for legal and regulatory compliance, but they will be anonymized. The deletion process typically takes 30 days to complete.

Does MediQuick use my data for marketing purposes?

MediQuick only uses your data for the purposes explicitly stated in our Privacy Policy. We may send you personalized health recommendations or appointment reminders based on your medical history, but we never sell your data to third parties for marketing purposes. You can manage your communication preferences in the "Settings" → "Notifications" section of the app.
